2017年12月1日，第12届Best of Year Awards颁奖仪式在美国纽约IAC大厦举行，共有逾1000名来自墨西哥、波兰、巴西、中国、以色列等国家的职业设计师和发烧友参加了此次活动。

美国《室内设计》杂志的主编辛迪•艾伦(Cindy Allen)强调：“Best of Year Awards不仅仅是一场设计竞赛，更是一场设计师齐聚一堂的盛大节日。”出版商罗尔·思科(Carol Cisco)充分肯定了参赛作品的水准，并坦言由于参赛作品的数量和质量的逐年提高，评选工作的难度也随之大幅提升。
